Jean - Paul Petrie, DVM, DACVIM - Cardiology
Dr. Jean-Paul Petrie received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1994 from the University of Guelph’s Ontario Veterinary College located in Ontario, Canada. He completed a post-doctoral fellowship in cardiac physiology and interventional cardiology at the Robarts Research Institute at the University Hospital in London, Ontario, Canada. Dr. Petrie is both board certified by, and Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in Cardiology.

Dr. Petrie has a special interest in echocardiography and feline cardiomyopathies. He to lecture both nationally and internationally, is actively involved in clinical research projects and has published several articles and book chapters.

Michael Troy Verra, DVM, MS
Dr. Michael Troy Verra received his bachelor of science in Pre-veterinary Medicine in 1980 from Rutgers University, Master of Science in Veterinary Cardiopulmonary Physiology and Pharmacology in 1983 from the University of Georgia, and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1986 from the University of Georgia. Additionally, in 1997 Dr. Verra became a Diplomate from the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners Certified in Canine and Feline Practice.

Dr. Verra has a special interest in echocardiography, abdominal ultrasound, ultrasound guided biopsy, electrocardiography, video endoscopy, bronchoscopy, rhinoscopy, cystoscopy, colonoscopy and endoscopic biopsy. He is a member of the ABVP, AVMA, NYSVMA, CDVMA, VVMA, the Cornell Feline Health Center and the CASE.

Dr. Verra is married to Lila; they have two daughters, Susie and Lila Marie, and are the proud owners of a dog named Duchess of Stewart’s Dam Pond.
