Recently took cat DJ into for yearly check up and shots. He now has arthritis. Dr Evans mentioned laser therapy for pain. How often and how much cost? Also anything else that I can give the cat for pain?
Thanks.
Cathy
Generally laser therapy treatments are done more often in the beginning (2-3 times the first week), then they are reduced to about once a week. It all depends on each individual pet and how severe the arthritis. The best thing to do would be to give us a call and talk to either Barb or Jen W., they can gear the treatments specifically to your cat’s needs. Laser therapy will also help relieve pain, so you may not have to give anything additional.
Please DO NOT give any over the counter, human pain medication, some can be deadly especially for cats.
