Behavioral Counseling
Some difficulties encountered with a pet are caused by behavioral problems. While training can be useful for general obedience with dogs, it may not resolve all aspects of a pet’s challenging behavior. Flannery Animal Hospital’s veterinarians and behavior counselors strive to prevent or effectively manage behavioral problems so that your cat or dog can remain a beloved family member.
Our veterinarians work with any behavioral problems and are prepared to counsel and teach pet owners how to address and manage challenging behaviors such as:
- Aggression
- Baldness from excessive grooming or chewing
- Biting
- Chewing
- Clawing
- Excessive barking
- Failed potty training
- Fighting with other dogs
- Inappropriate urination or defecation
- Running away
If you are experiencing problems with your pet’s behavior, please call Flannery Animal Hospital to schedule a consultation.
